Dubai Real Estate Market to Add 90,000 New Homes in Two Years

Dubai real estate growth

The Dubai real estate market is set to experience significant growth over the next two years, with 90,000 new homes expected to be added by 2026. As the emirate continues to attract global investors and residents, the city is undergoing a construction surge, particularly in some of the fastest-growing areas like Jumeirah Village Circle and Business Bay.

Dubai’s real estate market has consistently shown its resilience and ability to meet increasing demand. Following the record 101,654 units launched in 2023, the city is now on track to break that record again in 2024, with nearly 100,000 new units already projected. Experts, including Firas Al Msaddi, CEO of fรคm Properties, have highlighted Dubai’s robust pipeline, which currently includes over 1,000 ongoing projects.

These developments are part of Dubai’s larger strategy to meet the needs of a growing population and ensure continued economic growth. The cityโ€™s construction efforts will not only support real estate investors but also those looking for long-term residence options.

Among the top areas expected to benefit from this property boom are Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC), Business Bay, and Dubai South. JVC is projected to see an impressive 29,000 new units, while Business Bay will add over 19,000 homes. Dubai South and Wadi Al Safa 5 will also contribute significantly to the influx of new properties, cementing their positions as the fastest-growing areas in Dubai.

This rapid development aligns with Dubai’s vision to become a global hub for business and tourism, supported by real estate growth that caters to both luxury investors and affordable housing seekers.

With the anticipated increase in property supply, now may be the ideal time for potential buyers and investors to explore Dubaiโ€™s burgeoning real estate market. As prices remain competitive in key areas, securing properties before they appreciate could be a lucrative opportunity.
